1. Tournament Rule  

Everyone is to PLAY the BALL Down.

With the greens still recovering from the aeration should your ball come to rest in or on an aeration hole, you may place your ball at the nearest spot not nearer the hole that avoids the situation.

All other situations are to be handled using the 2008 USGA rules. Local rules apply where designated.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.   Format:

Individual stroke play. Net score determining the winners

 

Second round of the East Bay Regional 2Man Qualifier(Teams must play the Blue)

 

3.   Tee Box:

Group “A” will play from the Blue NCGA Disk (Blue Ball Markers on the 9th)

Group “B” will play from the White NCGA Disk

Group “C” will play from the White Balls
Group “D” will play from the Red NCGA Disk


Please note... If you want to move back you may do so but notify the TC so your handicap can be adjusted. You cannot move forward

Also while the starting sheet indicates your tee assignment if you are participating in the 2 man qualifier you must play from the Blue NCGA disk

 

4. Flights/Awards:

Flights:  4            Places awarded in each flight:      5     (subject to change)

Long Drive Hole:

No long Drive competition will be held

Second Round of the 2008 2 Man Sectional Qualifier

Official Rules and Regulations for the qualifier and supersede all other documents

 

1. Both members of the team must play from the BLUE NCGA Disk.


2. Both players must compete in the second round. If your partner is not playing then you are eligible for flight

    awards but your team is disqualified from the 2 man qualifying.


3. Winners will play in a sectional qualifier on August 21 on one of 12 designated courses. The qualifying team

    will be allowed to choose a first, second and a third choice but there are no guaranties.

 

4. The qualifiers from that competition will play in the championship round tentatively September 22-23.

     Please be aware that all dates and locations are tentative and subject to change.


5. One two man team will represent the club. Low combined Net team score after the second round is the qualifier.


6. All players trying to qualify will play at 90% of course handicap.  If difference between handicaps is greater

    than 10 and additional 10% reduction in handicaps will be applied.

 

7. Maximum index will be 18.4. If your index is higher, your index will be lowered to 18.4.
